Wow, we've had such a lovely busy day here in the kitchen!
The plan was to make some massage wax and some face serum, seeing as we dispatched the last on Friday!
So, i set to work on the massage wax first. We warmed grapeseed and apricot kernal oils in a double burner, added a little beeswax, and a few drops of frankincense, rosewood & corriander essential oils. Then, as the liquid cooled we poured it into our larger pump dispenser bottles - these should be wonderful for convenience during massage. 120ml £8
We also made a batch of the massage wax lightly scented with lavender essential oil for those with more sensitive skin, or those preferring less of a scent. 50ml £4.75
Then we set to blend the face serum. We warmed rosehip, coconut and apricot kernal oils in the double burner, added a little beeswax, and a few drops of rosewood, palmarosa and frankincense essential oils. Again, before the liquid became more solid we poured it into our 50ml pump dispenser bottles. The pump releases just the right amount of the serum to rub between your fingers and massage into cleansed skin for a super nourishing treat! 50ml £8
We'd had a special request to blend our simple and soothing calendula balm in a pump dispenser bottle to ease application - so we completed this blend too. I'm tempted to do this for the calendula balm in the future - but i'll wait and see what the feedback is first!
Lastly, we made a small batch of our Rich & Creamy nourishing face cream with thistle & jojoba oils, spring water and essential oils of lavender & palmarosa.
The house smells very dreamy! Orders and pre-orders for Christmas welcome - we have plenty of ingredients in stock.
