Soothing Lemon Balm...on its way

Lemon Balm
Melissa Officianalis, Lemon Balm's botanical name, comes from the Greek word 'mel' meaning honey - the herb has long been associated with bees and the healing power of their products. It is said that if a hive is rubbed with its leaves, the insects will always return and never swarm.

Lemon Balm is associated with being uplifting, in the 18th century it was recommended to renew youth. Today the herb is used for its gentle effects on digestion, depression, anxiety and tension. Sunflower oil hot infused with lemon balm leaves can be used to make soothing balms for the skin - ideal for insect bites, sore skin or slow healing dry wounds.

We will be hot infusing lemon balm in sunflower oil early next week, and will be making a soothing balm. Pictures and information to follow :-)
