Why natural skincare?

Around the time of my first pregnancy i started to become quite fussy about the products i was using on my skin. My body also became more sensitive during pregnancy and i found that my skin was easily irritated. With a little care into what i ate and exposed my skin to, i found that my skin could quite quickly clear up.

With the arrival of my two beautiful daughters, who in turn had mini battles with eczema and dry skin, my thirst to discover more about the products we use on our skin only grew. I was fast enough to ensure my kids enjoyed and benefited from fresh healthy food, what i had grown to learn was just how important it is to take care in the products we lavish on their sensitive skins.

I was a trained aromatherapist, and had a knowledge of natural plant and essential oils, so I developed an interest in researching natural alternatives from the plant world. I was encouraged by what i found, but realised that care had to be taken during pregnancy and childhood as even natural ingredients were not always suitable or should be used with caution.

I completed basic, intermediate and advanced Skincare Diploma's with Aromantic in London, and approached the world of skincare with a great new knowledge and passion for all that is natural.

As a family we have never looked back - we don't approach the winter assault on small hands and faces with the fear we once did. We arm ourselves with rich creams, intensive balms and watch dry irritated skin loose the battle!

What I made for my family soon spread amongst my extended family, then to close friends, then friends of friends....and that was how Under the Peach Tree was born.

The pleasure for us is not only in the making, but also in the impact our products have on others. We love to spread the good feeling that natural skincare can give - good for body and soul alike.

Come join us Under the Peach tree....
