Thai Fusion Massage

I am very excited to tell you that next weekend i will be learning Thai Fusion Massage techniques to add to my swedish, holistic and deep-tissue massage knowledge.

As my massage career has developed, i have found that those first learned skills of swedish massage are not always comprehensive enough to really help my customers with the tension and pain they arrive with. Over the past 5 years i have gone on to train in advanced and deep tissue techniques to complement my skills, and this has had a great impact on my work.

And now, i have the opportunity to train in Bath with Simon Gall from the London School of Thai Massage (LSTM) to learn deep stretches and techniques traditionally performed in massage in the East.

The LSTM website explains....

'Thai Fusion Massage brings together the best of both Western massage techniques and Thai massage techniques. Although not traditionally performed on a couch or plinth, certain Thai massage techniques lend themselves very well to working in this way. So much so that Thai massage using oils and a couch is now commonplace in Thailand. Combine these powerful traditional techniques with pre-blended aromatherapy oils and you have a superb fusion where East meets West.'

This course will further develop my 'toolbox' of massage techniques, enabling me to provide a full range of massage options for my customers. This is very exciting!
