Lots of Spring Orders!

Lots of lovely new orders received this week!

Tomorrow we'll be making some more soothing balm (thanks for all your lovely feedback!), we've completely sold out of our first and second batches! Yesterday, we picked up our first delivery of local Bath beeswax made from happy bees near Claverton Down! I'm so excited about using this beautiful new supply - so local, so lovely!

Next on our list will be a new batch of all-purpose skin moisturiser. I've had requests for lavender & geranium again, though i may blend 2 small batches which will allow me to scent the batches with different essential oils. We're out of mens dry skin cream now too, so i may use sandalwood, rosewood & coriander this time for our male customers.

Then, we've got 4 orders in for hair conditioner, so we'll make a small batch with some more unisex essential oils - maybe sandalwood & rosemary.

I'm thinking of also of hot infusing some fresh lemon balm from the garden in sunflower oil so i can use this lovely plant in some skin balms in early summer.

It's a blending & making day tomorrow! I'll post some pictures as soon as i can!

Gardeners Soothing Calendula Balm

Calendula Cold Infusing in Rapeseed Oil
On 6th March this year we started to cold infuse this blend of Calendula petals in locally sourced Rapeseed Oil from a farm just outside Bath.

And today, i am so happy to announce, we made our first Soothing Balm with it by gently warming the oil and blending in a small amount of beeswax. Such an enjoyable process, such sumptuous colours, smells and textures.

I promised you a Gardeners Balm, so i will dedicate this first batch to my fellow gardeners, who are probably feeling the need after some early planting and preparing soil/containers following this amazing warm Spring weather we have had over the past fortnight.

The balm leaves the skin feeling so soft and protected, and we have left out any essential oils so as not to irritate slightly cracked or sore skin. My hands feel 10 years younger!
